BODY: Based upon the unprecedented success of the Barnstormer wing. Performance Designs has incorporated the use of mylar stiffeners on the leading edge of its very popular Sunriser wing as well. These stiffeners greatly enhance the wings inflation characteristics and make them much easier to "get flying". We have been asked by our dealers and customers to incorporate this change into the ealier Sunriser and Windjammer designs, and are pleased to now offer this feature on any Sunrisers or Barnstormers produced, stated John LeBlanc, V.P. and chief designer at Performance Designs.

This begs the question…what if I already own a PD wing without the mylar? No problem. Performance Designs is now offering an upgrade program for owners of earlier Sunrisers!

Products available for upgrade include part numbers: PP-500/PA-500/PG-500.

If you are not certain of your model number, simply check the data panel located on the top surface of the center cell, near the trailing edge.

This upgrade will consist of a complete inspection of your canopy and the installation of mylar stiffeners along the leading edge of the wing. The upgrade cost is $475.00.

In order to insure reasonable turn around times for upgrade requests, it will be necessary to call and schedule your canopy with our parachute maintenance department.
