Outback 2001

This year is the third annual Oregon Outback Fly-In/Camp-Out. Dates are August 11th through August 18th. Location will change every day. This is an informal event, just a bunch of PPC enthusiasts getting together for good times, camping, flying, and exploring the varied scenery of Central Oregon. If you plan to attend, please email Q with the number of people in your party, your camping accommodations (tent, camper, motorhome, etc.)  For more information, see Q's OutbackWebsite

At this event you should expect cold morning temps, hot afternoons, bumpy dusty roads, thunder storms, no bathroom facilities, remote locations, great people, amazing scenery, dust, and more dust. Flying is done almost exclusively in the early morning hours due to strong thermal activity in the afternoons, and windy evenings. We ask that you be courteous and avoid flying near houses, avoid chasing wildlife, but above all have fun.

Here are a few photos from last year's Outback, and other photos of some of the areas we expect to fly.
