Trip to North Cypress, Turkey

This trip was the trip of a lifetime.  I get to go to Cyprus, the northern part, and put together a PC2000 as well as teach a new (with over 1000 hours in a paraglider) how to fly.  I flew from Dallas to Chicago to Estanbul to Ercan, North Cyprus.  The north end is Turkish and the south end is Greek.  To sum it up, they had a war there about 25 years ago and have not settled it yet.  My vote goes with the Turks.  It took me a few days to get the unit together but then we were off and flew from the east coast to the west coast.  We flew over the mountains and just down by the sea.  Sounds like a song and it was heaven.  Ozgur, is pictured with me as well as my armed guard Memit.  I found the statues to be so impressive they actually brought me to tears for a moment.  All that history is a little overpowering some times.  Thanks to Powrachute, I was able to have a great time and the Turks even gave me a medal for my efforts.
You never know what will happen in a Powrachute.
